The 3rd Annual Indoor Freeflight Event is coming soon! This event is sponsored by The Mojave Experimental Fly-In & Tehachapi Crosswinds RC Club, Brubaker Models, & Mojave Spaceport.  It will include indoor free-flight build and competition, and indoor RC flying (open room).   Select from two rubber-powered model kits, find a building table, and begin the build & fly competition.  The competition is two hours and thirty minutes long.  The build portion (the first 90 minutes) will be for building and flight testing the airplanes.  The next half hour will be the qualification portion of the event.  During qualifying a participant must find an official timer who will time their flight.  The timer will record the participant’s qualification time.  The final flight session involves the top three airplanes in each class.  These airplanes will each fly once, the longest flying airplane being the overall winner.  Best time wins!

The event center is a large Quonset-style building with a smooth floor for rise-off-ground or hand launch model. The air handling system will be off so the room will be calm. Small, electric models as well as free-flight models are encouraged to attend.

Pizza, soda, and iced tea included with the ticket.
